5. Bidders should satisfy the following qualification requirement and must demonstrate that :

Net worth is positive

Minimum average annual turnover of Rs 44,300,000.00 calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last 3 (Three) years.

The Bidder must demonstrate access to, or availability of, financial resources such as liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means, other than any contractual advance payments to meet the overall cash flow requirement: of Rs 12,600,000.00.

Experience in civil construction contracts in the role of contractor or sub-contractor for at least the last 10 (Ten) years prior to the application submission deadline.
- Participation as Contractor/Sub-contractor/ Joint venture partner in execution of at least 2 (two) civil engineering construction contracts within the last 10 (ten) years, each with a value of at least Rs. 21,000,000.00 that have been successfully or are substantially completed (80%). Further, at least one of the above contracts shall have a component of sewerage / drainage work consisting of laying of pipeline of diameter ranging from 400 mm to 1200 mm for at least a length of 800 m.

6. A Pre bid meeting will be held in the office of the Project Director, KEIP at 11.00 A.M. (IST) on 18.08.2009. Bidders are encouraged to participate in this meeting and it is desirable that bid document is studied thoroughly before this meeting. Project Director KEIP will arrange site inspection on 17.08.2009. Bidders are advised to send their representative (s) to KEIP office at the address above at 10:30 A.M. (IST) and proceed to site with PMU Engineers.
